Dr Zaeem ul Haq

health communication scientist and practitioner with over 20 years of experience in designing, fundraising, capacity building, management, and evaluation of Health and Risk Communication Programs. He holds senior leadership roles in both public and private sectors—He currently works as a Special Advisor to Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. but he has served Pakistan in many capacities as Technical Adviser on Health & Risk Communication for the National Health Ministry in Pakistan during COVID-19 and for the Vaccine Alliance. He advises World Health Organization programs in Afghanistan, Djibouti, Somalia, Sudan, and Yemen for their immunization and child health initiatives. Zaeem Bhai is also a WHO-certified trainer on strategic health and science communication and was formerly the Director of the Johns Hopkins University’s capacity building programs in Pakistan. He has mentored over 500 national and international SBCC specialists and supervised over 50 graduates of MSPH and PhD programs at national and international institutions.
